Oh Taeyang. How could I have put you on the back-burner for so long? I promised a long long time ago that I would be reviewing his album. But back in the day (when the album was released) I was in a slacker mood and the World Cup was on and I just left it aside. That doesn’t mean anything about how I feel about the album though! Read on for more and excuses and my true feelings on solo Taeyang!
As far as World Cup songs go this one actually doesn’t bother me! A lot of the World Cup songs being released by idols as “marketing tactics” according to netizens have been grating on me.
But here is where SISTAR delivers, they’re fun and energetic and I love the ‘oh oh yeo yeo’ part so much, I think that’s pretty much it. It’s not bubblegum cute it’s just a fun catchy pop number that totally puts you into the game.
Sadly though South Korea got their butts handed to them today by Argentina. I woke up at 8 AM to see it and that’s what I get??
Well at least they didn’t fail as epically as…
LOL that was bad. So I’ve been pretty MIA on my blog lately just bumming around during the summer and getting into the FIFA World Cup in my spare time.
Strangely enough when I was super busy with school I always made it a priority to blog but now that I’m so free I haven’t gotten around to it! Or it could just be that there was more to blog about it the yesteryears…and by that I mean…like a month ago, hehe.
But alas YG has inspired me once more! Taeyang is coming and trust me with that comes an EPIC review. I’m dying to get a hold of his album! 13 TRACKS!!

You go 2AM! I’m totally feeling the song, not within the first minute but definitely towards the end. I’d usually complain about how their voices are slightly auto-tuned or synthesized or whatnot but it totally works for this song and the rap was just so perfect! Plus the boys are looking pretty spiffy as well.

Music in 2009 from guys was so limited for me this year!
As currently opposed to homework as I am at the moment, I decided to indulge myself with a quick review!
The Boys:
Let’s begin with the boys of 2009, the ones who blasted onto some major popularity and released 2 albums in the past year!
WOW.
I’m completely blown away by the sheer beauty of the song and the music video. Just wow, I get it now, this overwhelming love that Taeyang’s fans have for him.
I’ve always been relunctant to accept any of my BIG BANG boys alone because I feel like the song is empty without the rest of the boys to balance each other out and keep some equilibrium, a nice in between rapping and singing, but there are always solo songs that are exceptions. Such as G-Dragon’s A Boy and Breathe (I never got into Heartbreaker), Seungri’s Strong Baby and now added to the list is Taeyang’s Wedding Dress.
Granted on first listen I thought it was a little boring but I liked it (that’s a big deal), and the only reason I pressed replay was because the music video was ust heartbreakingly amazing (it was like a mini-movie) and it left me asking…
BITCH WHY??? YOU COULD HAVE HAD TAEYANG SERENADING YOU EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY IF YOU HAD ACCEPTED HIM!!!
why??? SO SAD. On the second listen is when I fully realized I truly LOVE this song, his vocals are amazing, his dancing is amazing, HE is amazing.
Anyway, mad props to Taeyang and I’m actually looking foward to some more music from him. YAHH!! I love little surprises like that.
So I’m a little annoyed and I just wanna get this off my chest and I know A LOT of people are going to disagree with me but here it goes.
You know Taeyang’s new single, Where U At?
I DO NOT LIKE IT.
There I feel a lot better. Don’t get me wrong, I love Big Bang, I love the members, but I’m just not feeling Taeyang’s solo, truthfully I don’t prefer Big Bang members by themselves for some reason. Together they’re just better lol. So that’s basically it.
Also, I could care less about Wedding Dress. =P
Hopefully I’ll like it though, maybe it’ll be one of those songs you never expected to like but you end up loving.
Some examples of past songs that I didn’t care for but then ended up loving:
1. MUZIK – 4minute
2. RING Ding Dong – SHINee (how could I ever doubt my darling SHINee boys??? Oh right after the hot mess that was Juliette I thought there was no turning back lol)
3. Super Girl – Super Junior M (truthfully it’s still not on my IPod but whenever I’m feeling down I go watch the video)
