Review: MBLAQ’s 100% Ver. Mini-Album

MBLAQ is BACK. And so am I 😀 Everyone ready for my oh-so-accurate review of these boys’ latest musical endeavor? Again, I apologize for the delay and hope to make it up to you with my review, though not overly long-winded I like to think I make up for it with my precise unbiased analysis.

MBLAQ’s Cry MV Released

Ok so this is a little late but whatever haha. I remember mentioning that I didn’t want the music in the preview background to be the title song, but I take that back now!

I’m so in love with this song! At first I was like ummm… but now I’m all…

Cry Babies in K-Pop

Who knows when this phenomenon began, but whoever started it deserves a fruit basket. You know you all secretly love watching male idols win awards because one of them, there’s always ONE, that always cries!

In honor of that special moment in their young careers I’ve decided to dedicate a special post to the ‘cry babies’ in K-Pop. And I’m saying that in the sweetest and nicest way possible, because who doesn’t love a man who shows some emotions?

So, I’m counting down my top 5 from last to EPIC first.

Spring Break = New Music

I’m in the midst of a research paper and it’s finally due tomorrow, so I’m tweaking and editing all day today, and then it hit me, in 2 more days I”ll officially be out!

But it also means tons of new music, so I went through a mental rundown of everything I’m anticipating in the coming 2 weeks. Some more than others…

Current Playlist Session #2

So if you’ve read my blog before, I have a monthly section where I review the top 10 songs I’ve been listening to lately. I did one for February and now here’s my list for March. So in no particular order here we go.

MBLAQ’s If You Come Into My Heart feat. C-Luv

How’s everybody feel about MBLAQ’s newest song? I really like MBLAQ. Their music, however, I find average but I see they have huge potential musically.

And this song is definitely a step in the right direction in my opinion, hopefully they’ll keep it up for their comeback.

Fangirl’s Dream

Talk about manipulating the consumer…

I’m definitely on board for new M! Countdown, especially since it only features like ALL eight of my favorite groups in K-Pop. 2AM’s Laader/diva Jo Kwon & cutie Jinwoon, 2PM’s Thai Prince Nickhun, Rain mini-me Junho, and old maknae Chansung, MBLAQ’s hottie (and hands down my current obsession) Lee Joon, funny G.O, and CNLBUE’s maknae drummer Minhyuk (who happens to be born the same day as me only a year earlier.)

Gosh, this is awesome. Unfortunately, though all eight will not be on stage every week. Only for the premiere this Thursday, but every other week it’ll be a different combo of MCs, which I have to say is quite innovative, it strays from having to have locked in two MCs that audiences will get tired of and you can have big name idols able to do the job because their schedules can accommodate this once a month job while staying in the public eye. Genius. Whoever came up with it deserves a major pay raise.

Lee Joon & Jung Yonghwa = LOVE

Don’t you just love when your best friend embarrasses you on national television? Exactly as the title says LOL.

Who’s Dirtier?

Dirty idols these days man LOL

Hyuna (4minute) and Joon (MBLAQ) have something in common besides being the sexy ones in their respective groups. Apparently Hyuna’s been outed by her own band mates for being the reason their dorm smells ‘sourish’ because she doesn’t shower after coming back from work while Joon is known for being the member who showers the least in MBLAQ.

I love how Hyuna just has to bring him down with her but he seems to like having another idol on his side in the idol vs. shower battle!

My Faves getting picked on

It always happens! With Taecyeon on Idol Army, now Joon (MBLAQ) and Jung Yonghwa (C.N.Blue)

Though I’ll admit I laughed!
